Khalid Sheikh Mohammed 'confession' met with suspicion

So yesterday we have:

"Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the September 11 attacks on the United States, has claimed responsibility for those and other major al Qaeda attacks, according to the transcript of a hearing at Guantanamo Bay released on Wednesday.

"I was responsible for the 9/11 Operation, from A to Z," said Mohammed, speaking through a personal representative, according to the transcript of the hearing at the U.S. military prison camp released by the Pentagon"

"I was responsible for the 9/11 Operation, from A to Z,". You have to wonder who writes this stuff.

So for anyone who doesn't know KSM has been tauted as the practical 'mastermind' of 9/11. He was arrested some time back, even some mainstream journalists were very skeptical at the time whether he actually had been arrested or not. Nonetheless, the NYT and Human Rights Watch believed he had been the subject of torture while in US custody and so on.

Anyway, significantly both CNN and Time Magazine have displayed real suspicion towards this so called confession, and I think anyone who has looked at 9/11 would correctly be enormously skeptical indeed about the veracity of this and indeed the reliability of KSM himself.

All those among us with even half a brain can see through this shameful charade as easily as you and others have, Jultra. Therfore, it's an absolute duty for us to shout out about this - loudly & clearly - in every way we can - and as often as we can.

Good on you for doing your share of shouting - as usual - Jultra.

Shouting is pointless. Disobedience is the only cure to this insanity.

YOU are paying for the torture chambers.

YOU are paying the fuel bills for the aircraft that bomb children.

YOU are paying the wages of the torturers.

Until you wake up and stop paying for it all, it will continue no matter what you say or how loud you say it.

Shouting from your keyboard is precisely what they want; it is a form of compliance, containment, and voluntary self containment. It is impotence that feels like action.

Like demonstrating in the streets as the idiots have done YET AGAIN, they are perfect sheep. Notice how they demonstrate on a SATURDAY, which is their OWN TIME, that has no effect on anything.

These people are the enemy. They are worse than any tyrant, because their addiction to self control and dearth of imagination is the very thing that enslaves one portion of the population whilst murdering the other.

So -- shut up and stop trying to spead the message?

One day everyone will independently and completely spontaneously decide at the same time to start 'disobeying'?

Sorry, sunshine, real life's not like that. Things don't work that way.

Rant away all you like, mate. By your own comments you're implying you're knowingly flogging a dead horse yourself.

Thanks for posting Richard and yes the whole thing is a complete nonsense and that's an excellent article you've linked to from Craig Murray. Very interesting what Craig Murray said in that article about the BBC as well.

It's just staggering and what it shows it that the game is up and desperation has set in. If they have to go this route then they are in real trouble. And we're seeing quite a number of desperate measures all round lately.

Anon: Well we have to do what we have to do and do what we can. Richard is one of the most wonderful and decent and good and solid people I know in the blogging world and does one of the best blogs in the UK, if not the best. If there were more people like Richard in this country then we just wouldn't be in the problems we are in.

Now I understand how you feel, I'm sure Richard does too, we all get sickened by what's going on. But it's worth saying if it wasn't for good bloggers like Richard, information websites and the alternative radio and alternative news what even worse nightmare we might be in now.

Ooh, er, umm ... I don't know what to say, Jultra. And that's unusual for me, eh?

Seriously, I am blushing fit to burst. Thanks a million my friend.

And, you are so right about us each doing all/whatever we can/must -- including, in no small way at all, yourself.

Anon obviously hasn't yet heard of the likes of John Pilger, and that's sad because it's his/her loss. Pilger summed things up along time ago, in a few short words -- The greatest sedition is SILENCE.

Well, that's certainly something neither myself nor yourself can't ever be accused of - staying silent.

Imagine if Pilger (and others like him), had thrown in the towel in his early days when not many wanted to listen. Imagine the world never having been informed of The Killing Fields - to mention just one of his 'triumphs'.

Although on second thoughts maybe that's to tall an order -- I can NOT imagine it.

To sum up? We all do what we do because there's something inside us that insists we do. I don't have a name for that something but I am glad I have it, and I would bet my life that the same applies to you.

[Phew. Tea break time I think.] ;^)

Well it's all true Richard, you do great work.

And thanks for the comments yourself, yes Pilger is a great example there.

And yes I very much agree with what you say,

thanks again Richard,
